Online Shopping Experience

With my current condition, I spent more time on the internet rather than shop outside. But my habits stay the same. If I like certain things, I will go to that shop again and again at least 2,3 times until I felt like 'oh ada lagi. macam rezeki aku jer ni. beli lah'. Bole mendatangkan amarah bagi mereka yang meneman. 'Baik kau beli aje 2 bulan lepas!!'

Same goes with online shopping, I will visit again and again the websites. Mudahnya, tak perlu susah2 jalan kaki atau berjumpa salesgirl yang sama yang dah bosan tengok muka aku LOL.

Procrastinates in shopping does works. LOL. If its out of stock, anggap saje tak ade jodoh or selamat lahhh duit aku! Sebab dah banyak kali aku macam tangguh nak beli sampai la product tu habis di pasaran atau dah out of stock. Aku anggap perangai pelik aku ni adalah salah satu sifat sensible seorang shopper (nak cakap berhemah lew tew).

Dah hampir sebulan aku duk hendap. Tibala masa untuk membuat pembayaran.

... tengok packaging sampai pun dah jatuh cinta. bole la order lagi. eh?

I have serious issues with people who do not know how to use toilet properly. Not that I am super hygienic or 'toilet rumah aku super clean and cantik cam toilet hotel so aku nak act bimbo pasal toilet dengan kau orang' ..... I am talking about the basic rule of using a toilet.

1st rule:

Kat Malaysia ni kebiasaannya ada 2 jenis toilet. Flush Toilet (Toilet Duduk) and Squat Toilet (Toilet Cangkung). The name tells it people!! DO NOT USE IT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! Turn me off when I saw foot steps on the toilet seat.

2nd rule:

Flush after use. Titik. Noktah.

There's a lot more rule (especially if you come by my house) but let just stick to the basic will us?

I was early for work today. When I reached the parking lot it was still dark. I could still see the bright moon. I thought I was on night shift. I took 5 minutes sitting still in a car to ... just to clear my mind off unnecessary things before start working. I saw people in a car, riding a motorcycle trying to find a spot to park. People buying nasi lemak. People took 5 minutes nap in a car. People read newspaper in a car probably while listening to radio. When I thought of a long distance that I had to go through, I quickly get off the car and went to nearest cafe. I bought mee goreng.

I walk passed a few staffs. No. A few staffs walk passed me. The Selawat Nabi can be heard at the entrance of the factory gate. May we all be blessed by Allah. A few people passed me dropped by a quick hello or popped their favorite question 'Eh sorang aje arini?' or 'Laju lagi Siti..okay ke?' .. Those sometimes brings smile to me. And I love to smile in an early morning. It brings positive vibes. Like saying Good Morning to Dr Shashi.

By the time I reached my ofis, it was already bright. Wow what a slow walker am i now. No, I'm just taking my sweet time walking. I pity my skinny leg and my foot. To carry extra 7kg.

Another 3 months to go.

Will I be missing all these if I'm gone from here? I mean the beautiful morning? And beautiful people?

Puding Roti

kepada sesiapa yang selalu beli roti lepas tu makannyer 2,3 keping je. bila 4,5 hari nak makan lagi tengok eh eh dah expired! yer.. bagi mengelakkan pembaziran. agak2 roti tu memang tabole nak di abeskan sebelum expiry date tu, masukkan dalam freezer sehari sebelum expiry. lepas tu buat la koleksi banyak2. bole la buat puding roti!

bahan2:

500g roti

1 cup gula

2 telur

1 sudu tepung custard

1000ml susu/santan

Roti tadi dikoyak-koyak. Lepas tuh masukkan gula, telur, tepung, dan susu. Kemudian digaul and dilenyek2.. tapi jangan la sampai menjadi bubur plak .. biar ada tekstur2 roti tu skek.

Lepas tu grease pan with butter. Masukkan mixture tadi. Baked around 180degC for 50 minutes.

Tak sempat nk buat misi mencari bag, last2 adik sendiri bagi pinjam bagpack dia. Dia ulang alik kerja naik LRT. sebagai ganti aku pun beri shoulder bag Lollipop aku kat dia. dah pulak berebut dengan adik lagi sorang. teringat dulu barang2 aku macam jam.. bag... ipod ... henfon... sume rete mende aku la semua diorang sapu ... kira depa pakai seken hand la aku punya. sekarang, aku pulak pakai bag sekenhand depa. haha. baru la give and take.

masa aku nak cari bag gantian nak beri kat Ina, aku realize aku tak banyak bag. bole kira dengan jari. ye la kalau takleh kira dengan jari macam banyak pulak la bag kan? samada dia kaya raya atau dia bukak kedai bag ekekek...

technically 1 bag jer duk pakai kehulur kehilir. yang lagi 3 teperosok dalam tong bag tu dah terlalu lama and tak guna pun.. sebab leather dia dah wear and tear. maklum la cap biasa2 je... =)

sekarang kalau tengok orang pakai macam2 pattern. kalau aku nak beli baru pun, takde idea nak bag yang macam mana. adik2 aku punya handbag punyala byk. yang vintage la konon2, yang begitu yang begini. tak apalah mereka masih muda.

sebenanyer nak cakap, umur2 begini (ehem tapi masih muda tau) teringin juga pakai designer handbag... tapi lum ada rezeki lagi nampaknya....

I need or i want?

more than i need. now that i'm getting into 6 months and with nobody walking with me to the office, i had one handbag on my shoulder and a heavy lunch bag on the other hand (kalau bawak lunch lagi berat T_T). Now walking with these loads at 5km/hr in a automobile factory with another soul inside me was not easy sometimes with izzal not around. selalu lunch bag ku dia pegang. although alhamdulillah i get helps from a few friends who are willing to drive me back and forth sometimes to the office. thank u thank u. but sometimes nak kena jugak exercise and jalan.

i thought of having a new backpack. my backpack dah jadi hak milik izzal nampaknyer which i redha =) so that i have a reason to have a new one heee.... tapi masalahnya with my condition now, malasnyaaaa saya nak pegi shopping kat kedai... penat tau. if only i can have more choices of online shopping kat malaysia. and if only i'm not too choosy sheesh.

tell me.. people. where can i get something like this. be it fabric or leather. darker colour.

masa mama pantang lepas beranakkan anak yang comel iaitu aku kat rumah tokhajjah, ada suatu peristiwa telah berlaku. suatu malam tu ada sanak saudara datang melawat dari kampung mane tah. kemudian sedang dia melawat tu, tiba2 mama rasa seram sejuk chills semua ada...

lepas tuh tokhajjah pun suruh abah pi panggil ustad ka dukun ka masa tuh aku tak sure... tapi lepas orang tu baca2 surah segala mama rasa macam keluar something dari badan dia ikut kaki dia tu. lepas tu baru okay.

sebab tu mama pesan, jangan melawat orang sakit or bayi masa malam2....

lebih mistik, abah tu yang kekonon tak pecaya hantu2 ni... dia la tukang pi cari orang mengubat..

Noona dah kahwin

Phew baru saja balik dari kenduri kawin my noona, Ujie. Fewit kelihatan kurus dan hot gitu masa sanding dengan tema yang ala2 fairy tale gitu. Masa akad nikah pula kelihatan nervous yang amat sampai dok pot pet pot pet same jeee si ujie ni. lawak betul. apa2 pun you look gorgeous..

siap2 nak gi akad nikah ujie di waktu malam. nak jugak se gorgeous pengantin =p

masih anak dara. sebelum bergelar isteri. hihi.

rakan2 stj dalam cubaan meruntuhkan pelamin indah fairy tale ujie hehe. semua berat dah bertambah2...

House Project #16: Decorating the spacious Main Living Room

Last weekend i went to Ikea and bought this Hemnes coffee table. I put it at the corner of the Main Living Room just to fill in the space, hopefully to decorate it with a lamp, vase, a few pictures frames and magazines.

Initially this vase was put at the dining area but then moved to the tv area as i don't want it to overshadowed my mirror.

now that i have this table, i might as well need a another vase with flowers. because it was nice to see it at the corner of our tv area. or which one looks better?

Cerita Mistik Tishya

Semalam mama cerita, ketika aku masih bayi, comel sangat masa tu. eh ok takde kena mengena.

Ketika itu, aku tiba2 terkena penyakit hand foot mouth tu. yang banyak2 ulser dalam mulut tu. Tokhajjah kata, pergi cari orang yang tangannya pernah seluk mulut buaya a.k.a pawang buaya la time tu. Masa tu kat Lunas, abah pun bawa aku pergi sebab mama masih dalam pantang. Lepas tu, mama kata balik jer memang tade langsung ulser tu semua hilang!

Mistik gila okay! lagi mistik bila fikirkan samada mat pawang tu basuh tangan tak sebelum seluk mulut aku.... mama kata mesti la dia basuh tangan, takde la lepas2 seluk mulut buaya nak seluk mulut budak.

kalau zaman sekarang mana nak cari pawang buaya? agak2 zoo keeper yang jaga buaya berkesan ker....

ok. sampai sini jer cerita mistik.

Goodbye Love

Sending off Izzal at KLIA yesterday was not the hardest part. The hardest part is to live in our house for 3 months without him. Starting well off from last night T_T. Oh dear.

But luckily, my families and friends have been so kind and their support has been my strength to face this while him not around. Thank you Allah for this beautiful gifts.

I will miss u dearly, sayang.

belum pergi dah rindu

i just made an online purchase. which costs me quite a lot. which i don't usually do. this is what happen if you on medical leave unable to do any housework. but i did cook lunch.

apart from that, i browsed my previous vacation album. he'll be gone for 3months and next week going to be his last week. i suddenly felt so sad. what would i do without you? how can i wake up with no one beside me?

so many things happened and you were always there.

i hate medical leave. it made me think on things that i'm not supposed to be thinking.

Welcoming 2012

Another 3 days to 2012. Despite that I have not yet received a 2012 Diary from my company, I am very much looking forward next year - workwise. I am pretty much motivated with my life plan for next year. I hope it all works out as per plan.

My home sweet home has been very homey and comfy day by day although there's still pieces here and there for me to go and grab out there and makes it all complete. But with my condition I guess I have to wait.

My 2011 new year resolution finally completed. With the help of the little one I managed to break the barrier of 40kg and moving on now to 41kg. Fine, I cheated. Moving onnn.....

.....to the next year resolution! 2012. I wish for 45kg. And bake more cakes & cookies! And weekly jog & cycle around the neighbourhood (bila di izinkan kesihatan insyaAllah) with Izzal.

Semalam my SIL sms aku cakap my show Saya Nak Cuti tu still airing kat tv. I was like 'huh? masih ada....?' baru nak lupakan sebab kalau orang tengok asik je cite pasal aku lari tengok ulat tu #malu

Bila terfikir balik rupanya dah setahun lebih dah ... kalau siapa yang tengok hari tu, itulah saya masa masih bergelar anak dara *blushing* bulan 5, 2010.. tak kawin lagi... sekarang dah setahun setengah berlalu...

Cepat nya masa berlalu. Tak sabar untuk melangkah ke alam baru. Sekali dua pernah terasa mahu kembali ke zaman kanak2.. kali kedua fikir, tak mahulah. Cukup sebagai kenangan indah.

Tapi nak melangkah ke masa hadapan pun takut juga... uncertainties. Siapa bole beritahu kecuali Dia yang Maha Mengetahui. Lagi 2 minggu....

Lagi 2 minggu nak babai 2011... Nak welcome 2012 dengan azam dan semangat baru =) insyaAllah.....

I've been sooooo free this few days so that explains why I had this time to blog-hopping. Went to a few blogs that so called as fashion blogs... i usually only read my friend's blog.. so kena pegi kat adik punya blog then baru ada link2 budak2 muda ni.... You know young hijbasters or hijabsters fashionista wannabe.. oh dear they are so young. and i am so old. sigh.

then i went to online boutique Pop Look and see all these vibrant colours .. cantiknyaa .. and i quickly remind myself. hello... u r getting to 5mos. despite that you are short and thin, forget the dress.

my fashion sense macam so ke laut lately. haven't renew my wardrobe since i came back from UK. and now with the belly getting bigger i'm struggling to find anything in my wardrobe to fit me. tak payah cite la kalau pegi ofis. semuaaaa tak mecing. hah!

i dont even remember when was the last time i took pictures. i dont have any latest pictures of myself. like a proper one. thought i have been out couple of times ... xde sape nak amik gamba kite. kite tak cantik kot T_T

House Project #15: Main Living Room

Alhamdulillah, we have a big living hall downstairs that I can separate the Main Living Room from the TV area. The TV area looks pretty much complete now and cozy enough for everybody.

The Main Living Room decoration has remains mystery for so long and we have been waiting for financial source to finally put something in there =) Thanks to Allah rezeki datang on time.

For the Main Living Room I have been doing a lot of research, surfing on internet & flaping through Laura Ashley & Ikea magazines and try to see how people decorate the living room. It was hard. Because I love spaces. So does Izzal. How to fit in the living room with something that looks complete & homey but still looks spacious enough.

We went to Fella Design clearance sale in Subang just to see what kind of stuff that we would have one. At that particular time, I wasn't really sure of what I want. A big armchair? or a modern benchsofa? or a cleopatra. It seems like the bigger the shopping was, the more concept/idea that rushed into my mind. At the end of the day as expected, none of the items there catch my eyes.

After a while looking up and inspired from various places, I've made up my mind of what exactly I want to have in my living room. Colour, type of seaters, arrangement... Now all I had to do was start searching for the right item. And hopefully it get what exactly i had pictured in my mind.

I always wanted an armchairs that look like this.

That would pair nicely with a sofa bench. Fabric/Leather would be fine. No? Yes? A 2-seater sofa would be nice too but its just too bulky in a way.

So one of the weekend we took a drive along Jalan Sungai Buloh in Subang. There were plenty of furniture shops along the way that you can stop by. We knew we wanted to stop at only 2 places. The 1st was a big Furniture Mall (but it really doesn't that big).. where we got our armchair, luckily. SEBIJIK! Okay la not so tapi same leeee kurang lebih right? The fabric can be change which is good because the one we saw in Fella Design was a bit small, price about the same and the fabric cannot be change. So the one we got here issss soooooo bonusss ..! And the quality fit the price *thumbs up*

Next, we moved on to our favourite place. Located just next to where we bought our lights 'Achiever Lighting'. Here we found this! How perfect. The dark brown colour match the armchair. And all the colour match with our sedia ada carpet.

I felt relieved, good and happy coz our sofa search didn't take too much time. With a little luck, one day shopping and I can fill in my empty Main Living Room.

Next:-

To buy a table side on both sides and deco it with lamp and frames and magazines.

Red Velvet Cake

Yesterday was Izzal's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY sayang. So I decided to make Red Velvet Cake for the first time. Actually I have been searching the recipes for quite some times but couldn't find the time to do it.

This was the recipe I used from Joy of Baking. It comes with detail step on how to make the cake and a video too!

What's not include is how to make a buttermilk (if you didn't have one). Just add one teaspoon of vinegar/lemon juice to a 1cup milk.

I also learnt a few things. One of them is that food red colouring referred to Cochineal (I took forever to find red colouring in my Flavour Essence Box. Thanks to mom who pointed this out)

I also made a few mistakes. One is that I baked using top and bottom heat (usually I bake cake with bottom heat to ensure that the cakes fully bake. If the tops still not baked, lower down the temperature to 50degC and bake using top and bottom heat for about 15-30minute). Due to this, my cake was slightly un-cooked at the top so i had to adjust the temperature and heat medium.

Second, when I tried to make the cream cheese frosting. I accidentally beat the cream cheese with the whipping cream. And of course it didn't turn out fluffy as it should so I had to re-do. Always mixed butter/cream cheese first before anything!

My cream cheese frosting:
Beat 220g cream cheese (until it become slightly fluffy). Add 1/2 cup icing sugar. Mixed together with 200ml whipping cream.

I would try again this recipe. Perhaps a cup cake version. It wasn't that sweet and it was nice to eat it with the cream cheese.

House Project #14: Family Hall

My family hall meant to be a place where i can play, watch dvd and read books with my family. that is why i put my mini library here and my wii station here. although this space is a little bit small, i tried to make it as cozy as possible for a hang out place. i want my children to love this place as their playroom just like how i felt when i was a kid.

i put another tv here (second hand tv je izzal punya =p) to connect with wii. i was thinking of buying a dvd player. ada sapa2 ada lebih tak nak derma?? =) i wanna also make this place as a family's weekend sleepover... turn on the stand alone lamp (efek tengok movie) , eating ice creams while watching dvd... kan bes? #berangan

over the wall, a personal touch of both of us.... i put up a nice canvas drawing of my all time favorite car =) below are izzal's collection of keychains....

next, i will go and buy a cheap dvd player, put up another softboard with a collage pictures of me & izzal...

House Project #13: Dressing Room

what a coincidence that our room was designed in such a way that one can do a walk-in-wardrobe. i thought of doing one but izzal said that it will make the room look smaller which i agree with. i just love spaces.

so we end up with a built-in wardrobe with big pane of sliding doors. i was thinking of putting a nice wood dressing table like this but thought that its pretty but wasn't that practical for me at the moment. its a bit pricey. perhaps i would need it a few years ahead.

Lidan Door Mounted Storage, RM79. Is where i put my scrunchies, headband, perfumes, hair comb.. anything for super easy express access.

and a couple of box storage to organize your stuffs that would cost you less than RM10. to store your extra hair accessories (now that i got shorter hair, i dont need those scrunchies no more so this is where i store it), sewing kit, make up, make up bags .... anything!

i couldnt sleep last night. i flipped through my childhood album and looked through every pictures. looking at these photos, i wished i can a kid again. free from sins, problems, workloads, heartaches .. and never remember what yesterday was. which was so not me.... i am a very positive person who look forward every days ahead and feels excited about it.

but all these memories will never come back... it can remains in your heart and mind... but one can never turn the time back. so i need to face reality and be ready with it. i mean we all have to. to the future!

Finally yesterday, we went for a shopping after work! Although there were still items left unchecked in my Shopping-List , we got a whole cart of shopping bag left at home unpacked. huhu. we arrived home almost at 11pm (1 hour passed my bed time!).

anyway, we .. (or me) had dinner at Fig & Olive. a medditeranian restaurant at Marakesh alley. heard that from a friend of mine (who not particularly into western food) that foods here quite good.

the price was quite expensive but it was worth the money. the food is quite nice. i never thought a plain sandwiches like below could taste nice. (probably because i was hungry). but the avocado in the sandwich make it tastes superb. plus, hot almond milk was so soothing... althought it was a bit sweet but i like it. i felt like i was having supper instead of dinner. would come here again and try next meals.

Bonjour Paris!

i was surfing the internet dreaming of a vacation trip. so i went to this website which i used to use their service when i went to Paris with my family. i knew this Perantau Holidays through a friend at my office back when i worked at Lotus. So when my family come down to visit me, i decided to bring them for a vacation in Paris since i've never been there myself.

probably we were the 13th trip that they organized so it was a bit chaos. moreover, there are 3 other families that join us on that trip which i wasnt told. so it will be best if you could gather as much possible people/family on this trip so it'll be easier to communicate with person you know rather than strangers.

the good thing is that, they provide us the accomodation, transportation ( they drive us there) and ticket to Disneyland which is good. so u dont have to drive yourself and just make sure let them know which places you want to go and they bring you there.

i decided to bring my own family to tour in Paris town rather than stick with other families as it will be easier for me (i took the courage eventhough it was my first time too!). all the signboards in french, but i dont find it hards to go places in Paris using their public transportation, the train. just take 5 minutes to understand the subways links and places you want to go.

it was a quite a short trip but i enjoyed every second with my family.

tahun ni cuti raya aidiladha jatuh pada hari ahad. maknanya isnin cuti. tapi company aku bagi cuti sampai rabu. sebab tu aku sayanggggg company aku. lagi best, aku sambung cuti khamis jumaat. maknanya apa tu? maknanya, minggu depan .... cuti semingguuuu!

bos: uwahh... parent pulak sekarang raya rumah anak.. eh li (merujuk kepada sv saya, ramli), esok anak2 kita macam mana la ye..

hee.. tapi situasi ni tak applicable untuk semua orang.... maklum la parent saya umpama newly wed couple sesejak abah dah retired. takkan depa 3 orang (termasuk nenek saya) nak beraya sensorang kat Kulim. adik badik semua kerja di kota metropolitan cuti depa semua takat isnin ja. (saya je sebok amik cuti lebih =p)... yang bongsu dah sebok beraya dengan Sari Kartika, Bunga Cinta Lestari dan Kris Dayanti....

so... deswai mak pak saya mai raya Shah Alam. lagipun kesian kazen2 kt KL tu.. parent depa p Mekah. nanti hari raya pertama duk begenang ayaq mata pulakkk takda sapa nk beraya ekekekeke...

nanti saya hapdet cuti raya aidiladha yang harapnya gilang gemilang lah tahun ni walaupun tak beraya di kampung. berdebar2 la pulak rasanya...

Perfumes

call me Dior freaks. but i never change my perfumes to any other brands. tak tahu kenapa i'm addicted to Dior Fragrances.

my first perfumes was Dior Addict. my dad bought it over and over again every time it finished. (tak mampu beli sendiri. jadi setiap kali birthday asik mintak perfume baru je. kalau bukan birthday kena buat muka sedih tiap kali lalu kaunter perfume kat Parkson)

Then, i first bought on my own, Miss Dior. bau dia kurang sweet dari Dior Addict.

At one points, i don't know how but i switched to Jadore.. until today. I have tried other perfumes but I still couldnt resist Jadore.

Last couple of months, I went to buy a new one and found out there's a new Dior Addict in town, Dior Addict To Life which was launced in june 2011. The scent is nicer than Dior Addict 2/Shine but because the store don't have in smaller size i go for Jadore again. However, the salesgirl was so nice to give me 2 sample of Dior Addict. Its been a habit to put any sample sprayed on test sample card in my handbag ( menghilangkan bau2 kepam handbag ku ).. when i got home, the smell was so delicious i felt regret not buying it. now, i have to wait until Jadore ni abis. (sembur byk2 sekitar rumah umpama Febreeze untuk habiskan cepat hahahaaa-i-wish!)

House Project #12: Workspace Part II

oh my.. there has been a couple of things happened within the house but i have yet to update. talking about the workspace... which i have told you here. I ALREADY BOUGHT THE FURNITURE! dekat IKEA.

i wasn't very much help due to my health condition at that time so it took izzal two days to complete assemble this thing. poor him.

i've been arranging back my mini library but until i gather back all my books back from hometown Kulim, i will not display the whole view of it yet. it will be then December! long holidayy.....

I watched Samantha Brown on Road Trip Route 66 USA. Pretty cool. I decided right there and then, that it will be my 3rd road trip mission (not that i have done any of the other 2 yet -_-")

But, planning is so much fun regardless it will come true or not. Because I have another 2 road trip still in queue, this mission has to be before i turn 40. y? just because.

I started to calculate and google right away for surface planning. Assuming road trip for 16Days 15Nights (according to tour package).

SURFACE PLANNING : TRAVEL CODE KLLACH66

Google map the route. Assuming that I start from Chicago to Los Angeles. That would take you around 2000miles. Ensure which city you want to stop by.

Flight ticket. There are available direct flight to Los Angeles to Kuala Lumpur via Malaysia Airlines. But not from Kuala Lumpur to Chicago. So, i need to stopover somewhere in the middle via other international airlines. (probably Etihad. they do transit at Dubai *wink*). Ticket flight estimated cost $2300.

Foods. Assuming you are buying groceries/meals = $20 or hopefully less (with all the maggie stock you have). Total would be $320

Souvenir/Shopping/Misc - $500

Gas - The total mileage of the route is 2000miles. Googled and someone on the internet said that should be around $600.

Additional - If you still have extra money, why not spent some $160 for Helicopter Tour around Grand Canyon? spectacular view. OR take a step on Grand Canyon Skywalk for ~$30. IF - you have the guts.

I found a very nice Route 66 tour package which cost ~$1500 for car rental (5 seater), accommodation, maps, GPS, itinerary all for 16 days and 15 nights! sweet.

If i save up rm150/month, i can make my dreams come true.

This blog really turns into a diary dah. yawwwwwwww must be thinking 'oh what a pretty boring life she's been going through lately' memang pun -_-"

Not until mama and abah datang Shah Alam last wednesday. Amirul pun datang 1st time sebab dia dah dapat kerja dekat Kepong. DIA DAH DAPAT KERJA YA'LL! *pasang bunga api pom pom kebabom!!!*

Then sabtu-ahad-isnin mama & abah off to Bandung, visit adik. #untunglah ada mak pak sanggup datang jauh. *bole kira dengan jari tangan (tak termasuk jari kaki okeh) berapa kali mama datang visit aku kat UTP sepanjang 5 tahun. tsk. begitu lah nasib seorang anak sulung yang comel*

Lepas tu mama & abah stay sampai lah jumaat sebab ina nak balik Kulim jugak sekali. yay! Maknanya selasa smpi khamis bole rekues nak makan apa kat rumah. Malangnya niari dah khamis T_T

Okay lah. Nanti weekend aku cerita lagi. Okay kali ni aku rasa ada mende menarik nak cerita. Kalau takde, anggapje la aku makan tidur jer weekend tu.

Musim Haji

'belum pegi lagi tapi dah rinduuuu..........' - begitulah status kazen aku yang mengada kerana bakal ditinggakan oleh ibubapanya yang akan pegi mengerjakan haji. walhal dah besorr panjang.

teringat time aku kene tinggal dulu jugak. masa tu Form3. budak hingusan lagi. maktok jaga adik and ina kat rumah. aku dengan amirul kena duduk hostel.

nasib baik budak hostel semua okay. kecuali cerita hantu je tak okay. bila dapat poskad mama hantar dari Mekah, baca sorang2 kat atas katil lepas tu menangis kuat gila sampai senior pun dengar dan datang memujuk. #malu

p/s: senior tuh suara dia serak basah macam suara serina... tapi dah lupa nama. harap dia tak lupa aku.

lepas sebulan mama balik, aku pun mintak balik.. balik selamanya ke rumah ... =p

last-last weekend bosan gila kot duk rumah. TV pun aku dah abes khatam. takpun duk berebut remote. belum ada budak. tapi ada budak besok pun aku rasa aku masih lagi pemegang mohor terbesar remote lagi (kaki gaduh =p)

aku pun teringat dulu ada beli scrabble. usung la bawak keluar nak main. jenuh memikir perkataan2 extravaganza last-last semua keluar 3,4 urup wording ja. haha. otak dah berkarat. nak try bahasa melayu lagi susah. maybe sebab nama dia scrabble.

tuka pulak main game kad. entah mana aku jumpa kt rumah. free beli ape mende tah. dah la tak tunjuk cara main aku pun main bedal la. bila menang biasa la orang lain questioned cara permainan. cis.

dulu masa kecik2 duk main monopoli tu. sampai begaduh2 lah dengan adik beradik kekonon main tipu. sambil tu teringat lagi game kad yang lain. UNO, one happy family, snap... syok woh.

rasa nak pegi kedai mainan carik game2 kad ni.

p/s: dulu game kad UNO mahal... susah2 aku buat sendiri jer semua. pakai kertas =) kreatif ak?
tapi kad telus boleh kantoi ada kad apa. last2 lunyai. sebab nya, dah la buat sendiri pakai kertas tak berkualiti pule tu.

ina came all the way from Ampang and stayed for the night. she brought me Hazelnut Cheesecake. i thought she feel bad about me just staying home on my birthday huhu.

but i did went out to Ikea! dont want Izzal to shop by himself (eceeh ye lah)

alhamdulillah despite that there was no celebration, I am still thankful and grateful that I'm still alive till today to cherish all the great moments. its been a rough week for us, for me especially, but i am happy that surprisingly there were lots of people and friends who still wishes me on my birthday. But i don't feel regret or extremely sad that i didn't go out to celebrate. i'm just happy to stay around the house with Izzal *wink*

adik was so cute she posted a special entry for my birthday. although she's a bit exaggerating especially on the bully/marah/merajuk part but it never occurred to me that i've been such a role model for her (hssff hssff bangga) and now i just realized how big the responsibilities of being the eldest! macam benchmark kan? which ends up the youngest beats me -_-"

Alhamdulillah, last weekend kitaorang buat Open House cum Housewarming, ramai yang hadir. special thanks to my families yang dtg dari jauh dan dekat untuk tolong prepare event ni. rasa terharu dan gembira sangat. THANK YOU!

persiapan the day before. Ketupat palas dimakan bersama rendang. tidak lupa nasi himpit dan kuah kacang.

khemah pada hari sabtu. ramai gila orang buat open house! mcm kenduri dah. keluar rumah pilih jer nak makan kt rumah mana...

hari ahad tinggal khemah yang ini je. hehe

family saya... maktok, abah, paklang, mama, tokhajjah, pak usu and maklang! love u guys!

House Project #11: Mirror mirror on the wall....

it is very important to visualize what kind of mirrors you want and where you would have put it. because for me not all mirrors fit just everywhere. (sebagai contoh : cube letak mirror bilik air kt dining hall H-O-R-R-O-R!)

there's a few design consideration that have been played in my mind before going off shopping:-
shape: horizontal /vertical/square/round
frame: frameless/classic/modern
functionality: bathroom/dressing mirror/hall mirror

for me bathroom and dressing room kat guest rooms mesti ada tapi i tak kesah design (sebab secondary user is not my priority ;p) as long as cheap and ada sudah. for bathroom at each guestrooms, i bought this cheap square mirror. tapi aku learnt that, dressing mirror yang vertical kena ada setiap bilik (nanti nenek mak sedara semua komen takleh nak pose baju bila dah siap nak keluar berjalan/deting). yang murah and simple design kt IKEA lah.

For master bedroom and bathroom, i always want a big square mirror like in a hotel in my master bathroom so i bought one at IKEA for RM129 and the vertical dressing mirror is a must (primary user!)

every dining/living hall need a mirror to reflect the spaciousness. I have always fell in love with Laura Ashley's mirror when i saw one at Kak Ta's house. hers in gold which blend nicely with maroon paint wall behind it (macam luxury abes tengok!) ... aku pun dan dan tuh jugak nak the same mirror!

i wait no more when they offer 30% off during summer sale.

ps: dont you guys think that i should hold the mirror at bit upwards so that the whole frames can be seen?

Morning Person

Aku suka gila bila dapat weekend kat rumah. Bangun seawal jam 7pagi, mandi, breakfast and baca suratkhabar depan TV. On certain days, aku rasa rugi bangun lambat time weekend. Sebab satu miss breakfast, lepas tuh miss Melodi and tahu2 dah tengahari then besok dah ahad lusa da isnin. perasaan yang tabes.

Last weekend, aku bangun awal. Ingat nak pi cari nasi lemak dekat atas bukit. ada kawan bagitau geng2 berbasikal suka naik bukit tu then atas ada RNR jual nasi lemak Ramli yang sedap. Maka pagi tuh semangat aku berdesup pi cari kedai tu. Simpang pertama Jalan Paip tuh ada satu jalan kampung ni.. terussssssssssssssssssssss je macam takde penghujung berbukit2.. patut la orang suka berbasikal kat sini. ni mau kejang kalau nk naik basikal turun naik bukit kt sini.

aku suka gila jalan kampung ni. rasa nyaman jer.. bawak kete bukak tingkap tengok hutan, semak, pokok, kampung.. Malangnya ujan lebat malam sebelumnya jadi nak naik atas bukit agak licin (brader berbasikal beritahu). so kitorg decide tayah la susah payah naik. next time ada.

last last balik rumah masak nasik lemak sendiri sudahh....

Another reuse, recycle and refurbish project!

I watched how Kirstie turned an old bedside lamp into a new one by just changing its lampshade.

I got this second hand lamp but the lampshade was weary. And i had the remaining wallpaper from my dining hall.

Initially i thought that it was easy to change the lampshade. but it was a tedious job for those who hates detail handwork.

it turns out nice in picture but i admit my handwork was not enough detail. I might need to re-work. but the idea was good though! so never throw away your old lampshade. a new one might cost RM30-40 but a recycle might cost nothing!

House Project #8: Sidetable

I've been wanting to do this weeks ago. Remember how i want to make my own magnetic board? its all about reuse, recycle and refurbish. we got this old, antique sidetable from izzal's granny. the structure is still good but the brownish wood does not fit well in most area in my house so i decided to give it a new look.

we painted it white and put it at round the corner near the tv. Pile up a few magazines for your guests to read and boxes of CDs underneath.

Finally, after 2 months leaving UK, our stuffs back with us yesterday and today we've been super busy and super tired unpacking.

People have been wondering why there were so many boxes! Apparently, due to safety, the shipping company tends to wrap just every single things before packing it inside the boxes which end up only 2,3 stuffs per box could be fit in. ( dah tu plak kertas2 tu kalau kumpul bagi acik jual nasik lemak kompen dia untung dabel!)

alhamdulillah, nothing missing or broken. Santa Fe and Interdeon Shipping Company did a good job afterall (although Santa Fe did ship our stuff a month after we arrived in Msia.. tsk .. sedih tau baju raya and all bakingware masih dalam kontena.. i had to pinjam bakingware from my MIL and SIL). But their service was good. They packed and unpacked for you.

House Project #7: Rugs

we went to Nilai3 specifically to buy rugs to cover our naked tile-floor. Previously it was courtesy from my mom. and now, it was replaced with....

to match with the sofa la kekononnya...gasak la. this is the only sort of red yang i can find.. previous rug here was moved to upstair's hall.

and this to match with curtain and soon-to-buy-sofa =)

apa yang aku suka sangat pasal carpet yang aku baru beli ni sebab ia tersangat laaa lembut kalau baring bole tidur sampai 3,4 jam. pulak tu harga dia pun murah (less than RM100) compared dengan design happening tapi masyaAllah, tumit kaki aku yg kasar ni pun lagi lembut.. tapi jenis carpet yang aku beli ni designnya limited sebab tuh la aku dapat corak yang sedemikian. balik2 corak bunga centu... dapat yang corak daun tu pun kebetulan aje. so kalau nak tahu kelembutan carpet saya sila la rumah =)

Nilai3 tuh besar sangat i can take a whole day just nak cari carpet jer. tapi dah plan strategi:-

1) set mind singgah kedai yang beli apa yang kita nak saja. Mission: cari carpet

2) set price range (less than RM150). so yang lebih mahal tuh jangan toleh2 and jangan suh mat bangla tuh pegi bukakkan. nanti kalau dah bukak, terus terbukak hati beli.. tsk.

3) sebab nilai3 besar, sila pilih dalam 3,4 kedai sebab rata2 yang lain itu same aje lebih kurang corak dan harganya

4) pergi dengan orang yang pandai negotiate harge (seperti Izzal)

5) ALWAYS CHECK QUALITI CARPET KITA BELI. kalau tak puas ati suh jer mat bangla tuh cari and bukak sampai kita puas hati jumpa carpet yang elok.

adik bongsu sekarang sudah selamat tiba di Bandung, Indonesia. bukan pergi bersiar2.. pergi sambung belajar. belajar supaya bila tamat kelak bole jadik doktor gigi.

maka raya kelima itu, sekeluarga pergi menghantar adik ke KLIA. kami semua pakat tunggu sesi air mata banjir tapi kene sound dengan maklang wakakak takot nanti adik malu dengan kawan2 dia. sudahlah masa raya kami pakat duk pekena dia.. ciann...

adik, belajar rajin2. jangan lupa jasa mak bapak. jangan tinggal solat. and don't talk to strangers! bila makan selalu baca bismillah. sebelum tidur baca ayat kursi.

walaupun raya tahun ni rasa sekejap sangat sebab Proton pun bagi cuti seminggu ajek. dah tu pulak raya kelima dah pulang ke shah alam sebab kena hantar adik ke klia. tapi i still feel blessed dapat beraya =)

cuma terkilan sebab tak sempat nak beraya dirumah sanak saudara yang lain. takpe next time tak raya pun bole juge ziarah kan? =)

Serunding & Rendang

Aku memang penggemar tegar serunding Mama. kalau raya takde serunding macam tak bermakna la hari raya aku. so tahun ni tetiba mama kata tak buat la semua kita pi makan rumah tokhajjah. RASA NAK MENANGIS TAUU T_T

so i said kenot go la leddis. takpa2.. bila lagi nak belajar buat serunding kegemaran. bila da pandai buat sendiri jgn duk sebok komplen orang punya. pegi komplen yg sendiri punya. huhu.

cara-cara:-

1. Blend bawang merah (dalam 15-20 ulas kecil), lengkuas, serai (3/4 batang)

2. Masukkan santan (2 biji kelapa)

3. masuk kerisik (dalam 1 cup)

4. masuk cili blend (ikut dasar ketahanan pedas masing2). kalau tak cukup pedas blend sekali cili padi.

5. gula merah, gula dan garam

6. 4 ketul ayam (beso2 dan isi saje jgn tulang2 tengkuk dgn kaki ayam pun masuk sekali).

7. masak sampai kuah kering sedikit. carik-carikkan ayam.

8. masak sampai kering...

ps: bahan2 adalah anggaran berdasarkan peninjauan dr master chef...

kalau nk buat rendang pun same aje..

bezanya santan (3 biji). then masuk ayam bila kuah da kering sendikit..

selamat mencuba!

I knew there is a kind of machine like a mini studio which capture our pictures where we can then edit with cute icons and frames. I dont exactly remembered when was the last time i took those kind of pictures. i thought it was somewhere in Genting.

then this tweet friend and another friend of mine whom both apparently spent their times in Japan took this kind of pictures and it was sooo adorable!! teeheee...

i knew for sure that if i search in itunes store i will find something similar like that. yes indeed!

Serawa Pisang

My favorite dessert - Serawa Pisang or orang KL cakap, Pengat Pisang. Yang paling sedap of course kalau Tok Hajjah yang buat tapi manihh belecaih (manis sangat). Tapi sedap! So dari Tokhajjah sampai ke mama... aku rasa dah time dah untuk aku master Serawa Pisang ni sebab kat kedai or orang lain buat banyak yang tak kena dengan tekak aku ni. Yang caiyaq (cair) sangat, yang tawaq (tawar) sangat.. kalau komen banyak2 nanti kena marah. nanti mama kata 'eh eh nak buat sendiri lah'

Walaupun mama tak sehat, tapi lauk berbuka kena happening jugak biarlah aku sendiri yang kena masak. kalau tak sesialah balik kampung kumpul seisi keluarga tapi makan ayam goreng dengan telur mata aje kan? menu berbuka ikan asam pedas, tauhu sambal kacang, ayam masak kicap, sayur sawi goreng.

dessert is pulut udang (yang ini coming soon aku akan belajar dengan mama jgak!) dan yang nak cita ni pasal pengat pisang.

Cara-cara nak buat:

1. Pisang buang kulit, potong 3 or 2. Rebus pisang (Pisang yang sesuai pisang awak, pisang raja, pisang tanduk, pisang nangka) dengan daun pandan (air tayah byk2).

2. masukkan sagu

3. masukkan santan

4. masukkan gula melaka (yg cair tu)

5. masukkan garam dan gula (gula pasir)

6. masak sampai santan mendidih dan sagu dah kembang.

House Project #6: Workspace

Indahnya hari-hari terakhir bekerja sebelum bercuti untuk Hari Raya. Tadi pagi dah kelam kabut siapkan persiapaan nak jumpa Tuan Besar (saya macai tolong prepare data aje.. yang pegi menghadap orang lain le). Jadi dah lepas kerja, boleh lah tumpu perhatian pada 'kerja-kerja' yang lain.

I was (amboi speaking tetiba) virtually flipping through pages from Ikea Catalogue. My container was scheduled to arrive on 7th September and I purposely take a few days leave to welcome all my beloved belongings to my new home sweet home. Honestly, my Raya mood drop to second on the list when I received email of the delivery date.

Next project is: A workstation.

Because I was raised by a dad who is very particular about reading, I grew up spending most of my childhood time at the mini library, a space created by my dad. I love reading Disney's book collection that my dad bought over and over again and read it in loud voice. By 13, i read Interlok by Abdullah Hussain. It was an old book belonged to my dad. When that piece of literature appear to be controversial when it was adopted as a Form 5's literature book, I said hey I read that before! And never once i thought it was a racist at all. Or probably by 13, I was still an innocent kid :D But anyway, I always thought the one that I read was a genuine piece of good story which until now i am still amazed of how i could finish the whole book.

I have done search to get the best workstation area for my home. It must be able to put all my books, stationary, computers, electronic gadgets and important documents. All i need is a furniture that can organize all these stuffs. I have bought a Billy Bookcase from IKEA and that helps me sort out the books.

So i began searching on the internet until when one of my officemate stumbled upon this website.

so i search for something similar. and when i search, i always start with IKEA =) because i love the design but somehow certain of their products somehow not as good as the price.... i was once so crazy with Micke Corner Workstation but when i went to IKEA (ready to purchase the item if it fits my quality criteria) and found out it was made out of cheap piece. so scrap that.

All this for RM2100++ (new catalogue 2012). Because i have the bookcase already, the top add-on bureau costs me RM399 and the hemnes bureau is RM999. If i couldn't find anything similar to this at lower price until end september i'll definitely get this for sure!

because i am very particular of the quality and design rather than price, this is how i always shop my stuffs to at least make my banker, eh hehe... my husband happy that i choose the right stuff at the right price:-

1 - google/search on internet similar item and set a benchmark price

2- set a limit time (a month or week depends on how fast you need it --- be practical laa.. i know ladies always thought they NEED just everything kan? ) for you to survey

3- get a 2,3 place to survey (drag your husband to show him) -- tips: if you really want the one that is pricey and the one that u googled then go bring him the survey stuffs that is cheapy but not good quality keskeskes.... and then lobby him cukup2 and compare with the one u nak....

4- by the time of survey date to end, decide and go purchase your choice!!

save time and money. your husband happy. and u also happy maaa! =)

Its the final week working before Hari Raya Holiday! hurahh! tapi yang tak best nya lagi dekat nak cuti LAGI BANYAK MASALAH KERJA! adoiyai. letih nak melayan.

Alhamdulillah, kuih muih mama dapat delivered walaupun ada hiccups sikit. (salahkan PIC logistic and packaging). Tahun depan? tak tahu lagi macam mana.. memandangkan mama dah ada kedai.. mungkin dia tak ambil order dah kot? =p bukak kelas jer la ajar orang buat kuih .. lagi senang....

Chocolate Chip Cookies pun dah abis dijual. Alhamdulilah.. bulih la buat bayar bil letrik, duit baju raya tsk. there goes my duit meniaga.

From the bottom of my heart -- thanks for all the support! Tahun depan InsyaAllah kalau ada rezeki dan diizinkan, saya doublekan production saya... i mean production kuih lewww....

Pada customer, kalau nak komen, baik buruk atau baik saya tetap terima dengan hati terbuka. sila la email saya =)

tapi nak tunggu dia buat tu tak tahu la bila. jadinya, lepas kerja, aku ke bazar ramadhan dekat stadium shah alam. ada satu gerai ni, makcik ni memang buat kuih lompat tikam dan adik beradik yang lain mcm gula melaka, tepung pelita, badak berendam. macam satu kategori kan? makcik yang gentel kuih gula melaka pun bole tahan vogue. sebab gentel sambil memakai kaca mata hitam.

aku tak reti makan kuih lompat tikam ni. dia bagi sekali gula perang. aku tabur jer la atas kuih ni. rasa dia... tah la. sama aje macam aku makan tepung pelita dan adik beradik mereka yang lain. mungkin itu adalah kali terakhir aku beli. tapi bukan kali terakhir aku makan. faham tak? =p

dah la. lepas ni nak belajar buat tepung pelita dan kuih karipap sendiri.

Iftar at Sunway Hotel

suami mendapat jemputan dari sebuah syarikat untuk berbuka puasa di Hotel Sunway. sebagai isteri yang setia (walhal gembira tayah masak dan gembira dapat makan sedap), saya bersetuju untuk mengekori suami.

so i end up with IKEA Spontan Magnetic Board that cost me RM45/pc!! not a good solution but it fits my wall right away! =)

House Project #4: Kitchen

I think we had more than 5 kitchen designs before we sealed the deal with CLS Kitchen. Right from U-shape to L-shape to I-shape. From melamine door to glass to UV deco. I did it myself on IKEA kitchen planner. Install it in your computer (with all the dimensions in of your kitchen area) and bring/email it to supplier for cost.

We didn't do much survey for kitchen. Just because aku malas. We did sent a few RFQ (ceh guna term plak. haha Request For Quotation) but it all end up with expensive price for our intend design. From one target cost down to another to another and finally to another. same goes to the kitchen design.

Getting the right kitchen design/layout is much important than the price heh? hehehe....

We stumbled upon CLS before we went to UK. I said it was not the cheapest but not the most expensive. I was satisfied with their work and here i am happily cooking for my husband everyday. I love my workspace!

Next, i need to arrange my cooking ingredients properly on the worktop. Right now it is pretty messy. IKEA, here i come!

My two machines are in working for production. Thank you Anis for the wedding gift (Cornell electric oven) ! and my husband for the Electrolux Oven.

4 Ramadhan - production kuih bermula

dah hari ke-empat berpuasa. kejap jer dah sampai hujung minggu. so far, aku gembira sangat dengan Ramadhan kali ni sebab ajar aku macam2... alhamdulillah, Tuhan masih sayangkan aku dan buka peluang segenap alam untuk perbetulkan diri yang tak betul ni.

tahu dah bila masuk ramadhan. sebab bila masuk kilang pagi2 nak pegi ofis, tengok semua operator yang datang awal semua terjelepuk kepala kat meja rehat, tidur. sian diorang. kerja sebelah mesin, panas, berdiri lama, letih, kerja berulang2... puasa pula. kalau aku pukul 10pg mesti dah berhalusinasi sorang2.

tengok engineer, kerja dalam air-cond, mengadap laptop, habis susah pun pergi meeting kat department orang lain. jauh sikit kena jalan pun dah bising. bersyukur sangat tak perlu bersusah payah guna kudrat tenaga untuk kerja. tu pun merungut lagi kerja ni la tu la. haih... sebab tuh bila masuk kerja announcement orang baca doa pagi2... kena aminkan sekali.

ps: semalam production kuih raya dah start. sian suami ku kena tunggu sampai kul 12mlm haha.. ingat nak sambung malam ni. tapi tengokla dulu macam mana. sapa ada ID Tupperware? saya nak beli tupperware tapi bukan ahli -_-"

Puncak Mutiara Cafe

During my engagement day, my dad ordered grilled lamb from his friend who apparently owned a ranch and a restaurant, Puncak Mutiara Cafe. The lamb was super soft, tender, sweet and being a meat-lover, i couldn't resist it. I haven't got a chance to go to the restaurant until last weekend, when my mom invited the whole family to dine in there, i couldn't disagree anymore!

We went there after maghrib and it was already packed! even until 11 pm there's still people driving in to the place to dine here. so i was told that it opened until 2am -_-"

the place is very nice. every table is placed in every hut. there's a special 2 storey VIP air-conditioned house, a large open area by the pond, private hut, kampung syle hut (yg jenis bersila tu..kalu nak duduk kt sini dinasihatkan jangan pakai jeans.... hehe)... i was amazed by how it was put all togather and sometimes it doesn't look like a restaurant to me. like a resort.... at the back was an open kitchen. behind the open kitchen was... the animal resort ... guess what it is? yep... rumah kekambings la heheheheh.. sweet sgt ada resort sendiri. but i pity the goats. mesti diorang tension kan hari2 bau kambing grilled kt kitchen. bau kuat kotttt ...but it wasn't that close to annoy your food taste. dia cam jauh sikit and up above.. kambing pun tak nmpk. front door rumah kambing tu siriyes macam lobby resort. i told my sister that it is reban kambing and she didn't believe it. she thought it was the owner's house!! hahaha...

the food? western and asian food. just pick the meat either ostrich (yesss my first time eating satay ostrich), rusa ka, daging kamben ke... semua daging2 nya empuk dan menyelerakan. harga? pricey but worth the money.

i would definitely come back. i wish i could go for ramadhan buffet but i am sure the whole place will be jam-packed! so probably after raya... next time i will order western.. side dish pun not bad macam cendawan goreng -- OMG CENDAWAN GORENG PALING SEDAP PERNAH AKU RASA!

gamba foods takdak la sebab sampai2 jer makanan semua pelahap makan terus. so kalau aku sebok amik gamba mungkin tinggal pinggan jer untuk aku nanti.

إِذَا كَانَ أَوَّلُ لَيلَةٍ من شَهرِ رَمضَانَ صُفَّدتِ الشَّياطينِ ومَردَةُ الجنِّ وغُلِّقتْ أَبوابُ النِيرانِ فلَمْ يُفتَحْ منها بابٌ وفُتِّحتْ أَبوابُ الجنَّةِ فلَمْ يُغلَقْ منها بابٌ ويُنَادِي مُنَادٍ يا بَاغِيَ الخيرِ أَقبِلْ ويا بَاغِيَ الشَّرِّ أَقصِرْ. ولله عُتَقَاءٌ من النَّارِ وذَلكَ كُلَّ لَيلَةِ

Apabila tiba malam pertama Ramadhan akan diikat/dirantai segala syaitan dan jin-jin yang sesat, ditutup segala pintu neraka hingga tidak ada satu pintu pun yang dibuka, dibuka segala pintu syurga hingga tidak ada satu pintupun yang ditutup. Seorang penyeru (yakni Malaikat) akan berseru; "Wahai orang yang mengejar kebaikan! Tampillah kamu. Wahai orang yang ingin melakukan kejahatan! Undurlah kamu (yakni berhentilah dari melakukan kejahatan)". Akan terdapat orang-orang yang bakal dibebaskan Allah dari api neraka. Hal demikian itu berlaku pada setiap malam (di sepanjang Ramadhan)

Ramadhan kali ni berlainan dengan Ramadhan sebelumnya. tapi perasaan nak menyambut nya tetap sama... dan perasaan nak berlumba2 beribadat tetap lebih dari tahun tahun sebelumnya. (lebih tak lebih tuh wallahualam... yang penting niat hati itu ada ye tak?=p)

cuma tah nape kali ni.. belum masuk Ramadhan lagi, tapi rasa mcm tak sempat jer nk kejar masa dalam Ramadhan.. tiap2 hari tengok kalendar bulan Ogos macam.. sempat ker nak buat tu nak buat ni? cukup masa nak buat? list nk buat berjela baik duniawi mahupun ukhrawi... tapi berasa cam tak sempat2 jerrr nk abes kan semua. rasa nak amik unpaid leave 1 bulan. eh bole ke? =)

Doa Malaikat Jibril menjelang Ramadhan "Ya Allah tolong abaikan puasa umat Muhammad apabila sebelum memasuki Ramadhan dia tidak melakukan hal-hal berikut:

-Tidak memohon maaf terlebih dahulu kepada kedua orang tuanya (jika masih ada);
-Tidak bermaafan terlebih dahulu antara suami isteri;
-Tidak bermaafan terlebih dahulu dengan orang-orang sekitarnya"

Maka Rasulullah S.A.W pun mengatakan Amin sebanyak 3 kali. Dapatkan kita bayangkan, yang berdoa adalah Malaikat dan yang meng-amin-kan adalah Rasulullah dan para sahabat, dan dilakukan pada hari Jumaat.

anjat boboi... takutnya dengar hadis ni (nampak sangat banyak buat dosa.. yaAllah ampunkan aku!)....

so far, yang aku dapat forwarding ni kadang2 tak disertakan dengan hadis, dan kadang2 kalau ada hadis pun saya pun jahil juge bab2 hadis ni. jadi saya pun google 'hadis memohon maaf sebelum Ramadhan' dengan niatnyer kekonon nak share la ilmu ni ... mahu post kat blog bole la kongsi2 informasi. tapi.. mende lain pulak yang terkeluar. yang BAHAWASANYA hadis itu adalah PALSU. hah?! apeka? palsu pulak dah.

It was lucky for us that our master bedroom was designed in a way that a customer could use either a standalone wardrobe or a walk-in wardrobe, which I was thinking for one, once. But then, as much as how walk-in wardrobe look nice in deco magazines and pamphlets, i don't think that it will look the same with mine. but i decided to have built in wardrobe like this because i reckons that it looks much more simpler and nice too look at (imagine all the stuffs that u 'stuffed' in without a door?! or -- just imagine your kitchen cabinet without the door panel..) .. so ada pintu kan kemas, senang, dan cantik.. hehes...

next is to get a nice rugs and a dressing table and awaiting for my vertical mirror to arrive....

last weekend adalah wedding Fara and Radzi a.k.a Harris. uuu.. sekian lama menunnggu ye la bak kata orang itu betul. kalau jodoh tak kemana jua. so akhirnyer diorang pun kawin juga.

fara macam princess! kalau aku jadi radzi, mesti aku dah pengsan tengok fara tak sempat nak berarak.

dalam group supadupa, fara lah paling hot. pegi pasar malam ker, jaya jusco ker, pegi library ker, pegi cafe pak ali ker... semua orang tengok group kitorang. eh bukan... bukan tengok kitorang. tengok group kitorang sebab tengok fara.... yang lain bole tumpang perasaan lawa dan hot juga hehehhe..... ape salahnyewww ......walaupun fara hanya berseluar track dan berbaju tshirt lusuh ada kesan minyak sambal -_-" (yer fara memang antara tercomot dikalangan supadupa). tapi tercomot yang hot. (nak jugak hot)

langsir dah sampai... dari Laurea Home Furnishing .. bukan Laura Ashley. Laurea ye. sapa2 berminat bole pegi kt butik dia kt Putra Heights jumpa dgn kak siti. oh no no bukan i. i takde dapat komisen apa2 walaupun nama kami sama.

dia ada banyak range material and warna and pekerja dia so far very helpful. nanti dia tulun mecing2 kan...

material yang dipilih berwarna biru turquois berbunga dark brown. sesuai dengan pilihan kayu window seat dan juga katil. roman blind tampak exlusive dan modern (amboi macam explaination dalam magazine)

kebiasaan memang room 1/2 and guest room di downgradekan dari master bedroom. tapi masih mengekalkan ciri2 elegan melalui pilihan corak dan fabric.

walaupun sofa di main living hall masih berada di mana2 kedai perabut yang menanti kami untuk membeli nya apabila ada sale hebat, namum pilihan langsir tidak harus diketepikan. jalur menegak menimbulkan kesan memanjang pada rumah. (wah apekah aku merepek ini?!)

Kitchen
curtain type : blind

abaikan periuk belanga yang sedang disidai itu. pemilihan blind material agar membolehkan cahaya luar telus ke dalam dapur. corak yang tidak keterlaluan menampakkan ciri2 tuan rumah yang simple (padahal sebok kejar nak balik main petik jer mana mana blind miahah)

tengok.... sesejak melibatkan diri dengan langsir sekarang baru faham banyak jenis pulak langsir ni. bukan senang nak pilih fabric dan warna langsir. kot kot nanti tak mecing dengan sofa ker dinding rumah ke.... tak ke boria rumah nanti huhu...

apa-apa pun membeli dan belah biarlah berkadar... ukur baju di badan sendiri biarpun diri ini mahu eyelet di semua bilik namun terpaksa downgrade demi kewangan masa depan..

okeh la. yg penting ada langsir sudahhh nanti jiran depan sibuk nak tahu pula apa kita buat kt dalam ehem2...

first time buat asam pedas. weekend lepas pergi ampang tengok malam tu mama masak asam pedas. balik rumah teringin pulak nak cuba.

1. Blend bawang merah, bawang besar dan bawang putih dan tumis.
2. Tambah serai (tumbuk sikit yang hujungnya itu) dan bunga kantan.
3. Tambah cili kisar.
4. Tambah sedikit air asam.
5. Tambah air (ikut kepekatan kuah yang anda mahukan)
6. Tambah garam/gula.
7. Masukkan ikan.

House project #1 : Furniture shopping

Last week including weekend was a hectic one. Searching for final furniture. Luckily it wasn't that hard to find a good price with good quality and just exactly what i had in mind. i am a very choosy person when it comes to shopping be it anything. if i intend to shop, sometimes i already had in mind of what brand, what colour, what design and how it would look. and quite sometimes it ends up with something pricey and i ended up not buying it but quite often when i truly had it locked in my mind i just grabbed with and couldn't care less the tag price.

but shopping trips these couple of times been easier on me because not only i can grabbed those with cheaper price but i also end up with stuffs that exactly been pictured in my mind since forever. so i left as a happy shopper and most importantly with time restriction my taste and my heart seems to locked at the first store or stop that we made which usually rarely happened.

There are still a lot to do while waiting for our container. so in a meantime i will enjoy the space that i have......

dining room almost complete. waiting for wedding gift from laurea.

master bedroom. i am looking for side table. hopefully, i can find something interesting back in kampung and refurbished it.

my messy messy second living room. the main? heh will not be completed until the next bonus huahua. isn't this a nice snuggling and cuddling area while watching horror movies? Ikea now on sale ! grab EKTROP 2-seater with chaise lounge for RM1599.

i cannot wait for my DIY project for my home.

last weekend hana came by my new home to have a look at my contractor's work. I was ready to go to my sister's house in Ampang so the meeting was quite short sadly. when they came in i let hana and his husband tour around the house and me playing with zarif. and sometimes my husband played with zarif while i took them tour the upstairs.

zarif is very clever boy. probably because he has his own iPad when he's not even 1! (oh jealousy~) he was not very friendly at first to see me (any kids will do.. why? i am not that strangerrrr i am a very nice aunty mehhhh) so i tricked him by giving my iPhone to him. he quickly trying to slide my phone left to right and his eyes blinked in excitement. maybe he's wondering why his iPad shrink into a smaller one =p and oh anyone will love his fluffy cheek!

that night i spent the night at Ampang because my husband played midnight futsal (or is it football?) so i decided to pay Delia a visit because i was told that she wasn't feeling well. oh tisha cut the crap. u want to see amani.

Amani is so cheecky and friendlier since the last day i met her. probably she's getting used of me visiting her. haha. but now i live in Shah Alam i wont get to see you that often Amani.. huhu. I love making Amani smile because i can see her deep dimple. omg so preity zintaa haha... she was amused by herself - click at the picture below to see the video. funny!

Dah 2 hari kena ulser mulut. Mula2 nak telan ayaq lioq pon sakit. Ingat kan pasai pa nak telan apa2 pun sakit. Tonsil ka?

Sebaik rumah sekarang dekat dgn klinik panel. Yang penting klinik panel yang tak diagnosed aku dengan perkara2 pelik.

Doktor saspek masalah bakteria dalam mulut. Dia beri aku ubat tahan sakit la, tahan bengkak la.. Satu hari makan x jalan apa.

Aku pegi doktor lain sebab masa third day confirm2 nampak seperti ulser. Tapi takkan kat lidah? Aku google - ulser lidah. Sekali yg paling hit kanser lidah terus gelabah. Teruss jumpa doktor lain. Terusss doktor kata confirm2 la ulser. Hamik ni ubat ulser. Tepek2 ptt lidah kebas p tepek kena plak tang pipi abes pipi aku plak yang kebas. Payah betul nak pakai ubat ulser ni.

alhamdulillah sekarang sudah recover. terima kasih doktor sebab bagi ubat. terima kasih Allah kerana memberi nikmat ini semula pada aku....

dah nak balik baru berkesempatan pegi Brighton Beach... seharian kemas rumah dan barang... half day pun jadi lah pegi tengok aje tempatnye...

kalau tak sejuk da lama mandi sbb pebble beach jadi takde pasir. kalau mandi takde ah kaki melekat2 pasir. yaks! tapi ada juga beberapa mat saleh yang tabah mandi/berendam air laut.

masuk free jadi mari lah masuk. dia punya ride mmg syok gila babas tapi tah la. tengok orang main pun dah senak perut belum naik lagi. sejak bila tah hati jadi kaku nak try perkara2 best. selalu aku orang pertama beratur...

sepanjang pantai ada kedai2 cute macam ni.. comel.. tapi tengok aje la ye tisha. fikir kitchen cabinet sebelum membeli apa2...

menyesal pulak weekend2 duk saje2 kat rumah tak datang sini... masalah nak berjalan dalam keadaan sejuk tu yang takde kudrat. rela duk rumah sambil layan tv dgn izzal...

Adik dah dapat offer letter untuk sambung ker Indonesia... sambung belajar untuk jadi doktor gigi apabila sudah tamat belajar. hari raya tahun ni pasti suram. i pity my family. ina je sorang2 dengan my parent and maktok. oh lagi sorang tu serupa macam tak ada so.. put aside. adik takdak sebab adik will leave on middle August. me will be at my husband's hometown until probably the second day of hari raya. but adik might come home for hari raya. hopefully.

adik is so lucky. she's the youngest with bright brain i must admit. honestly in the beginning as the eldest i was quite concern that after SPM she didn't know how to proceed from there. somehow i was surprised how she knew what to do with her future unlike orang tu and she did it herself. like go to education fair, search on internet... she knew exactly what she was doing.. I AM SO PROUD of her. i mean at my time, if i didn't make it to UTP, i don't even know what to do. lagi2 setelah patah hati tak dapat offer buat architecture dengan JPA.

whatever offers she got she would tell me.at that point, i don't know and i cannot read what probably she want to do. even when she told me she want to do dentistry i still can't believe. but, all along i always said, do what you want to do and pick course that you like. not because someone told you.

she'll be going soon and we already miss her... adik, belajar rajin-rajin... dan jangan lupa solat dan baca al-quran selalu... we all pray for your success always. although i hate you sometimes, but kau la paling best kalau dipeluk. tapi sekarang jatuh no 2 sbb no 1 abg izzal hehehhe.....

I was quite a reader since young. When I was a kid, I remembered sitting down in the corner of our sort of library, reading every books from The Disney Collections that my parent bought. I'm pretty sure I was the only person in the house who managed to complete and even repeat every single books. I remembered growing up with all this books because there was once a volume of book which show how Mickey Mouse make a homemade stuffs for his birthday party and I ended up cutting out parts of the book to make one. Last year, when we arranged the books into the new shelf, I had a good laugh with my mom and sisters when I admitted about cutting out some pages from that book. Those books meant so much to my childhood memories. And so we kept them still.

My teenager days wouldn't be complete without Enid Blyton, Sweetvalley High, and Goosebumps books. TELL ME IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ANY OF THOSE! I remembered saving up my pocket money to buy all those books which at that time costs me about RM8-RM11 per book. Every time I went to Popular Bookstore, I would definitely looked up on which volume that i hadn't read yet.

Then i went to Uni and the only books i read was er... Heat transfer which i got D for it. er... Mechanical Fluid 1 and 2 which i got C for it.. yeah. all the Uni books. as far as i hate reading it, i still bought them. brand new.

When i work and still single, i got freetime.. like when i went to bed i had nobody to call or sms so i filled the times with reading books. it ranges from a shopaholic to some mysterious murder book which i dont even know where and why i bought it.

And recently, I had a feeling that i had to start reading again after a year or so.. been busy with dating, engagement, and wedding of myself. I asked Noona to buy me this book. When I had a chance to meet him (hopefully he will still be visiting our test track and i can ask him to sign the book for me). now baru chapter 20. lagi 42 chapter. slow reader sebab nak kena faham balik sejarah perang, sejarah NEP sejarah whatsoever lagi. aku tak sabar nk sampai chapter pasal Anwar. haha.

I just received this book from Ricardo (bukan Sir Harry Ricardo as below.. Ricardo Engineering company hehs). terima kasih daun keladi! the second i received this book semangat berkobar abis. bukak chapter pertama penuh graf. terus benci. tapi masih ada semangat sebab buku ni siap attach drawings. so buku ni akan berada di workstation aku dan akan dibaca setiap hari.. 10 minit waktu rehat. we'll see how it goes.

last year i've been to a few places that i haven't got chances to write about it properly. now that i think i could spent some times to write about it, i will start with whatever comes to my mind first. which is Amsterdam.

KEUKENHOF

THE BEST PLACE TO START WITH. the capslock just explain it all. what else Holland popular of other than its TULIPS! oh ever since small i read Disney book where Donald went to Netherland and the pages just covered with pictures of tulips and windmill. even though the pictures was not real but it made me think that oh what a beautiful place to visit and back then i was only what? 8?10? set your dream high kiddos because i dreamt and been there =)

not only you can see thousands of tulips and flowers, there are river cruising along the tulips plantation, get a view from windmill, demonstration on wooden shoes.... playing at park and maze...

however, pick the right time of you travelling date because Keukenhof not open all year long. check here to plan your trip.

we landed on Schiphol Airport and straight ahead to buy return bus ticket (available at the airport) to Keukenhof. See here for detail on how to get to Keukenhof.

RED LIGHT DISTRICT

nobody goes to amsterdam without going here. y? because its urm... *pandang kiri kanan and whispering* ...... area for legalized prostitution. ah-haaa and so it explains the Sex Museum , Erotic Museum and whatever yang berkaitan ... i dont know what they display in there because i didn't go there but i think the name tells me enough. AND I WOULDN'T SUGGEST THAT YOU WOULD BRING ANY OF UR CHILDREN AROUND THIS AREA YEAH. at least not at night because it's when the 'show' started. so... daylight is okay. kot?

MUSEUMS

Many artist born and discovered their talent here. City of art as i might describe it through how art statues and pieces were displayed around the city. Those who appreciate art can visit Van Gogh Museum, The Rijksmuseum, Madame Tussauds as such. incredible pieces of work displayed here i guarantee.

COFFEE SHOPS

not an ordinary coffee shop or cafe you would imagine. it is a cannabis coffee shops. in case you didn't know that under Dutch's Law coffeeshops are allow to sell cannabis to customer. so apparently it is famous for its cannabis (marijuana, hash etc etc kind of drugs).. but u cant get it outside the country but you can have it inside. as far as i concern.

VONDELPARK

Now this is the place that i regret most for not exploring and spending much time here. Best to spent time here is that grab a hot chocolate, a picnic mat, and cycle through the park and find a spot where you can just sit and watch peoples.

AMSTERDAM CANAL

a worth for river cruising. you can have a view of a city, beautiful architecture (i love all the houses and buildings here. they are so cute and so vintage!)

bicycles are like main transportation here. and they speed like cars. so i would prefer tram.

What else that Netherland popular of? you HAVE to take on a tour outside Amsterdam to know more..

its june... coming to july. i can't believe that time flies so fast. i's almost the middle of 2011 can you believe it? i mean -- hello next year is 2012 and i will be 28! and soon enough i will be 30! okay. lets not mourn over being old.

there are so many things that happened that made me realized how i am very much grateful and humble to be stood still on earth with my love being around. it made me a stronger and better person. it made me realize that i couldn't be far from him. ever. i couldn't even imagine. i learnt who and what important in my life. this year is like huge man. like totally flipped my whole world around and made me realized just about everything.

and the next phase of my life is to move out of this country and be able to live like normal people do. like having home and cook and chill under the porch and decorating house and inviting friends and family for dinner. home is everything. home is where i can nurture relationship with families and friends. i felt like i've been living a nomad life since ever. i mean since we moved out from Kulim. uh-oh by saying all this i felt like retiring. ok snap!

and which is why i can't wait for my house project. which will start the second i step out of the plane! betapa tak sabarnya saya. i've been watching Kristie Homemade Home and browsing through a few home deco mags here and i am lucky that since i've been here i've got a chance to pick up a few stuffs at good price for my home. need to keep everything under budget now. moving into a double storey house, that's just a lot to fill in right?

so starting july until the end of this year i am gonna be very busy with the house and settling down. i just want to have a good time and chill with my husband enjoying living in our house that we dreamt and feel good about having it...

and so im not sure if im gonna take orders for Hari Raya cookies.... probably just gonna bake for myself....

i stumbled upon this video by this famous Ustaz Azhar Idrus. teringat dulu orang pernah ckp tokleh (amboi tetiba nk tranung slang miaahah) potong kuku ke rambut ke bila period. logically mcm contradict dgn Islam yang mementingkan kebersihan kan? i still think lots of people still have that idea which need to be corrected... sapa2 rasa i ni salah or ustaz ni salah ker or ada informasi2 lain yg bole aku search/digging let me know! aku pn kurang arif bab2 gini...

ustaz ni mmg bes and klaka. siap ada website sendiri lagi. kalau rajin sesila la jenguk kt SINI.

I've been watching the same movies over and over and over again.. It sucks really.. until Izzal came back with 3 DVDs. although i've seen 'em all but I'm glad there's something else that I could watch with him... and I still need to finish reading at least chapter 13.

u need a dvd

... an ice cream

... and tv!

Its been 1 week. I miss sun, sky and people. Which i got to see them yesterday. I know my mom will never let me. But Izzal. He's just a kind of person who try to fulfill whatever I wish for. oh what do i do without him really.

and it's been raining. constantly. more reason to stay in and recover!

next monday is the day. i hope everything goes well. i really do. i've been out one day (and not even doing a thing) but get exhausted and tired for just 1 and a half hr travelling. yeah. should just stay in.

When I first saw this video it reminds me of two things.

1. Me dad and me siblings used to do this every maghrib. no matter how i use to play at the back (oh so ashamed) never once he raised his voice or be angry at me. Although I didn't know about the 'rewards' at that time, but I specifically learnt to value family through this exercise. #memories...... And so..... the exercise cont.....

2. When I attended the Solat Smart Course at my company, the speaker told me the same thing. In a funny way he said, would you really come mosque every prayer time to do the jamaah IF you would have known that each time when you flipped the sajadah you would find RM27? And if you really made it through 5 times a day.... ? and he asked this guy to do the calculation on how much that we will get for one day, and then a month, a year and this guy brilliantly calculated it well and the speaker jokingly said 'see..humans.. when it comes to money, they just know how to do the maths'

so here's a video and apparently this young funny man is a student who did a lot of video like this a part of dakwah (as many people recognized it). so yeah.. people have many ways to do it.. so take whatever good.. and leave whatever bad.. (if there's any)... =P

lately i think malaysian (or mostly malaysian's womens) di saji dengan cerita drama fantasi tentang lelaki hensem, budiman, baik, gagah, sweet, caring, loving which makes most malaysian's men goes like 'pls la women, mana ada lelaki macam tu'.

1. i dont think its wrong for any women to admire such man even they know in reality its just hard to find. just because u cant be such men we were admiring about so stop complaining!

2. women, as far as u always wanted men like that, dont go on complaining to public 'oh kenapa husband aku tak pernah angkat aku pun' or 'husband tak pernah bukekan pintu kereta untuk i tsk tsk' or 'my dad tak penah pon sweet loving2 dgn my mom cenggitu' ......

same goes la mcm cerita nur kasih kan.. every man was like oh nk isteri mcm nur kasih or kan best awek or bini aku mcm ni .. kan bes kalau awek ni exist sebelah rumah so aku bole ngorat dia...... and the women goes like 'eh hello skrang takdenyer perempuan centu' ... either women, u just being jealous or u cant be as good as them. and men, either u think u r good enuf or ... yeah ur just being a men.

nhow, my point is, its okay for u to obsess with seth tan or asmara or nur kasih or whoever on the show, but dont compare them with ur sayangs (mom dad husband wife).... but u can always tell them 'it'll be nice if you can bla bla' but NEVER COMPARE. sian ur husband/wife...kan?

I've read somewhere that said 'Jangan terlalu bercerita pada manusia bila kita ada masalah'.

tapi tak lah bermaksud kalau kita ada berita gembira atau ditimpa musibah kita tak bole bercerita pada kawan2 dan keluarga terdekat.

cumanya jgn lupa...... kalau berita gembira itu rezeki dari Allah dan kalau ditimpa musibah itu dugaan dari Allah sebab Dia nak tengok. bila susah kita cari siapa? bila kita gembira kita ucap syukur pada siapa... Dia mahu kita ingat pada Dia...

so peringatan to myself and to all my dearest friends, belajarlah mengadu dan bercerita pada Allah kerana at the end semua yg terjadi dan nak terjadi hanya Dia sahaja yang tahu.

renung2kan dan selamat beramal... =)
